Who we are and where we began

A Borders family firm you can get hold of

B&K Hume Groundworks Ltd has been working out of Greenlaw since 2004, taking on commercial and domestic groundworks from landscaping through to tarmacking.

Professional work, plainly done

We take on both commercial and domestic work, and we treat every job the same way: a clear price, a realistic programme and workmanship we are happy to put our name to. Reliable, good value, and priced competitively without cutting corners under the surface where nobody is looking.

We provide a wide range of groundworks services across Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders and surrounding areas. All work is carried out to the highest standard, and as a Scottish Borders Council approved contractor we are able to work on public infrastructure across the region.
